Event Description:
Join us as we present our scholarship awards to 5 students from Seminole County.
 
Michael Barr, Executive Director of Keep Seminole Beautiful, is our featured speaker. In keeping with our monthly theme of environmental awareness, Mike's topic will be Water - Conservation & The Future.
 
Keep Seminole Beautiful is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to engaging individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their local communities built & natural environments. Formed Earth Day 2007 KSB has a sixty member Board of Directors; twenty elected officials; twenty business leaders & twenty environmental leaders.
 
KSB provides a variety of services to Seminole County including the scheduling and coordination of a number of activities and events. These include Anti-Litter Projects, River, Retention Pond & Lake Clean-Ups, Educational Gardens, Water Conservation Programs, Community Block Grants and other projects as defined by the Executive Director that help KSB accomplish its mission.
