Event Description:
Love will be in the air in February, and things will be heating up with a special presentation of "Calle Tropical" a Latin Jazz and Art event!
Make plans to join us with your friends and loved ones on Saturday, February 9, 2008, from 6-9 pm to enjoy the smooth, tropical sounds of Silva G and the Boomers followed by the spicy upbeat music of one of the finest Latin jazz bands in Florida, Ya Gozo. Both bands play a unique blend of Latin flavored jazz and provide a unique take on some of the most popular and acclaimed jazz standards. The lively music at "Calle Tropical" will make you dance all night long in a beautiful lake front setting!
The concert will also feature two art exhibits. Casselberry City Hall will display colorful artwork by talented local artists including, Aurora Rincon, Marcos Cruz, David Figueroa, Obed Gomez, Ursula Julve, Pete Lopez, Rebecca Murta, Ricky Neath, Calixto O'Neill and many others. The Casselberry Art House will host the Annual Seminole County AP Student Exhibit showcasing the best up and coming artists from all of the Seminole County High Schools.
The "Calle Tropical" Latin Jazz & Art event will be held at the Casselberry City Hall Complex located at 95 Triplet Lake Drive.
