Event Description:
All music lovers are invited to enjoy great jazz, pop, and R&B music with the Orlando Concert Band at their next concert performance during the Art & Music in the Park and The Food Truck Bazaar at Lake Concord Park on Friday, Oct. 10 from 6 – 9 p.m. Combining vocal and instrumental soloists, the Orlando Concert Band performs symphonic and orchestral pieces, theme music, and jazz from its large repertoire that includes a variety of the traditional, popular, and patriotic music.
Be sure to attend a free azalea and landscaping workshop at 6:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. Taryn Sudol with the Florida-Friendly Landscape Extension Services will provide a mini-workshop on how to plant azaleas to help celebrate Casselberry’s Founders Day and the former Belgian Azalea Garden near Lake Concord Park. Workshop attendees will each receive a free azalea plant (first come, first served- supplies are limited).
Come hungry because there will be around15 gourmet food trucks from The Food Truck Bazaar offering delicious culinary delights that range from flatbread pizzas to empanadas.
