Name: Event at Seminole County Economic Development
Date: September 26, 2007
Time: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT
Event Description:
Do you have questions about the Research & Development Tax Credit? Are you getting paid for your improvements? Manufacturing and high tech companies may be eligible for the R&D tax credit if they engage in product development research related to the design and development of new or improved products or new or improved processes. With changes in technology and manufacturing processes continually evolving, many companies are dedicating more resources to qualifying research activities than they realize. In addition, recent tax law changes effective this year will allow more companies to benefit from the credit. This round table discussion will review the basics of the R&D Tax Credit and help you determine if your company will qualify for this tax credit. If your company has qualifying activities, this credit may significantly reduce your tax liability in prior years, the current year and future years. Don't miss this opportunity to see if your company can generate tax savings and benefit from the R&D Tax Credit. Presenters: Amy Moon , CPA, MBT Amy is the Principal-in-Charge of the LarsonAllen Research Credit Practice.
