This year’s Rock ’n’ Classic Car Show will be held on April 24 at Lake Concord Park behind City Hall from 3-9 PM. Be ready to dance to your favorite songs of the 50’s, 60’s 70’s & 80’s, performed by Group Therapy. Combine the virtuoso keyboard talents of Chili handling the lead vocals along with Eric’s cosmically influenced guitar style and backing vocals then insert Paul’s thunderous drums and falsetto vocal harmonies, this burgeoning trio can fill any venue with energy, excitement and a whole lot of horsepower.
The GT ’Power Trio’ is not your momma’s band! Over the course of the past few years, the Central Florida based trio has emerged as one of the club scenes most highly regarded bands. Witness the bands dazzling performance skills and see why they have solidified their standing as musicians’ musicians.Group Therapy will amaze you! Though there are only three guys on stage you’d swear you were hearing more. Thanks to this multi-talented team, you won’t miss a note of your favorite artist. Make a request and see if the boys can pull it off. Their repertoire is amazing and the sky is their limit.
A juried classic car show with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will also be held. No car entries newer than 1978 accepted. There is a $5 donation fee to participate and all proceeds will go toward the Casselberry’s Seniors for a Better Community Committee, all cars should be pre-registered because space is limited to only 50 cars so there might not be any space left the day of the show. Don’t miss this event sponsored by the City of Casselberry and Sunny 105.9 FM. There will be vendors on site selling memorabilia items, food, drinks and more!
