Kathryn Townsend :
- Has been in Seminole County over 20 years, coming from Arkansas through Fort Lauderdale.
- She worked for 15 years in County Government with the Tourism Development department and now works as the Purchasing and Facilities Supervisor for the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
- A former public school music teacher she has spent a lifetime being active in the arts. Beginning with singing the national anthem at football games while in high school to stage work in south Florida, Kathryn has a long history of being involved in the arts.
- She has an undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters from Rollins College.
- She serves on many area boards and is the current president of the Seminole Cultural Arts Council.
