Event Description:
The Recreation Center is preparing to host the CERA Health Fair on May 19 from 9 a.m. until noon. Approximately 50 vendors will be invited to display booths that provide important information related to health and wellness for seniors. Live entertainment and door
prizes will be available for attendees. Last year’s event brought in more than 500 visitors. CERA stands for Community Education & Resource Affiliation, Inc., a group of Health Care Professionals who have come together with mutual cares and concerns for the Central Florida
community. Together the network of professionals formed a mission to provide education and resources not only to seniors, but caregivers and families with specific needs through annual health fairs, educational seminars and speakers’ bureau. After partnering up with
other organizations in the area, CERA has quickly grown to be the largest group of health care professionals that meet on a monthly basis and have obtained 501c3 status for the charitable donations given back to the community from its members. .
