This months speaker is Kurt Esser, New Athletic Director of Seminole State College.
Topic: He will be speaking about his plans for the college and future for the community.
Kurt Esser was named Director of Athletics at Seminole State College in the summer of 2016 and assumed his duties in August. With 30 years of experience in college athletics, Esser brings an “external” focus to the AD chair. His focus is on Fund-Raising, Marketing and Communications. Since his arrival he has set-up the Building Raiders Fund Board of Directors, Created sponsorship opportunities through the Raider Athletic Association, launched a brand new athletic website (www.SeminoleStateRaiders.com) and enhanced current athletic facilities (new scoreboards, dugouts and fan shading). Another area of concentration is community engagement. Seminole State will be working with community groups to enhance the student-athlete experience.
