This month's speaker is Wendy Taylor from Strategic Online Marketing.
Wendy Taylor is the owner of Strategic Online Marketing, a digital marketing agency in Central Florida. She has 19 years experience. Throughout her career she has worked in the travel, broadcast and educational arenas to help businesses grow their online presence. Wendy’s internet marketing experience started in 1997 when she graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with her B.S. in Business Administration and her B.A. in Communication. In 2002, Wendy earned her M.B.A. from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, Florida. Her concentration was in Marketing and E-Commerce.
Wendy is experienced in growing a company’s online business using e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, social media and pay per click advertising. She has worked for Southwest Airlines Vacations, both Cox Radio and CBS Radio in Orlando and the Lake County Florida School Board.
Wendy’s experiences in the broadcast industry includes both television and radio. She has worked for CNN in Atlanta, GA. She has also worked for NBC and ABC television affiliates in Upstate New York. Wendy’s radio experience with both CBS Radio and Cox Radio in Orlando, Florida afforded her the opportunity to work with radio stations including Mix 105.1, Sunny 105.9, 102 Jamz, K92FM, AM580 WDBO, 98.9 WMMO, 96.5 WHTQ, Star 94FM and Power 95.3.
Wendy has worked as an adjunct professor at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida where she has taught sales and marketing classes to undergraduate students. She has also done guest lecturing at Rollins College, the University of Central Florida and ITT Tech in Lake Mary, Florida.
Wendy is a guest columnist for the Orlando Business Journal and an active member in the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Resource Network.
