Business Luncheon
Event Description:
This month's speaker is Bill Hufford. The sponsor is Tim Veigle of Watson Realty and the caterer is Smokey Bones.Bill was born and raised in Frankfort, Indiana where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Colleen. After graduating from Purdue University, Bill and Colleen moved to Orlando in 1970, a year before Walt Disney World opened their doors. He graduated from University of Central Florida in 1972 with a MBA degree, taught one year at UCF, then began working for SunTrust Banks, Inc.
After 32 years with SunTrust Bill retired and started a small business consulting company, Lighthouse Business Advisors, where he advised several small businesses on various functions.
Since retiring, he has been active in the Casselberry community where he was Past President of Casselberry Rotary Club, Past Chairman of the Board of Christian HELP, and has served on several boards for the City of Casselberry including CRA, Economic Development, and currently the Pension Board.
Bill has been president of the Casselberry Friends of the Park where a group of volunteers work along side city staff to help plant trees, clean up the environment including our Blueway Trail, and assist with the numerous events that the city hosts throughout the year.
Bill and Colleen live in Casselberry where their two adult children, Matt and Liz, live nearby. They have three granddaughters and one spoiled cat.
