The 10th annual Earth Fest – the county’s largest environmentally friendly festival – is on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry.
Free tree and plant giveaways, butterfly releases, gardening workshops and music highlight the event, hosted by the City of Casselberry and Casselberry Friends of the Park. There also will be educational presentations throughout the day.
The mission of Earth Fest 2019 is to bring awareness about protecting our environment, creating clean energy and reducing our carbon footprint. As part of this important mission, numerous fun activities will expand your mind through eco-friendly sights and sounds. The areas that will educate, encourage and empower citizens to create a sustainable community include the Green Vendor Area, Green Transportation and Energy Area, Petting Zoo, Entertainment Area and a Kids Zone.
Admission to Earth Fest 2019 is free, and the event is open to the public. Bring your family and friends and pick up a few pieces of litter as you walk, bike or drive your hybrid to the largest environmentally safe, eco-friendly event in Seminole County.
