Introducing the 2019 Walk For Wishes Chairperson, J.R. Tanghal! A volunteer for Make-A-Wish on his fourth year, he is a Surgical Sales Rep/Principal Distributor for Foot & Ankle Fixation of Central Florida. J.R. and his sales team have worked with Foot & Ankle Surgeons/Podiatrist in the Central Florida area now for over 10 years.

When J.R. isn’t in the operating room, he spends much of his free time giving back to charities, specifically Make-A-Wish. J.R. is no stranger to the non-profit world, running a local philanthropy, Guys With Ties for 10 years before strictly volunteering with the local chapter of Make-A-Wish.

In 2017, J.R. along with the rest of his dedicated committee members, made  history, raising $417,000 and making the walk a Top 5 National Walk For Make-A-Wish. Over the last two years, Walk For Wishes has raised over $800,000 and granted over 100 Wishes. J.R. returns for a third year as the Event Chairperson and is dedicated to raising over $500,000 and making Walk For Wishes a Top 3 Walk in the Nation. Look for him on walk day with BLUE HAIR- a promise he makes annually to his committee as an incentive to hit their goals!
